Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments accurately and efficiently.
- Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical records.
- Participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
- Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules and submitting correct billing information.
- Cut blocks and make custom molds as needed.
- Interpret computerized treatment plans and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- ARRT certification required.
- Valid state license for radiation therapy.
- 0-3 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
The work environment is fast-paced and requires significant interaction with management, staff, and external auditors and clients. Frequent travel by air or automobile is required, approximately 70% of the workweek, on average.
