POSITION SUMMARY:
The Paramedic is accountable for delivering advanced life support services during emergency situations and patient transport.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Paramedic or PHRN certification in Pennsylvania or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Valid driver's license or eligibility for a Pennsylvania driver's license.
- PA DOH EMSVO certification to be completed within 30 days of employment.
- Completion of HazMat Awareness Training and NIMS (100, 200, 700, 800) within 30 days of employment.
- Medical Command certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
