- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data management systems, including database design, data warehousing, and data visualization.
- Develop and maintain software applications using various programming languages, including Python, Java, and R.
- Work with researchers to develop and implement data-driven solutions to support their research goals.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and apply this knowledge to improve our data systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Amazon Web Services.
- Proficiency in programming languages, including Python, Java, and R.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
