Position Overview:
As a Quality Inspector, you will report directly to the Quality Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring that our electronic assemblies meet both Spartronics and customer specifications. Your efforts will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering fail-safe electronics solutions that are vital for various industries, including aerospace, defense, and medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of populated printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to established work instructions and IPC standards.
  • Identify and manage nonconformance issues related to products.
  • Ensure outgoing products comply with quality standards set by Spartronics and our clients.
  • Communicate inspection findings effectively to production teams and management.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED; an Associate or Technical degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Certifications in J-Std and IPC-600 or IPC-610 are required within the first 90 days of employment.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance practices.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection standards is advantageous.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Work Schedule:
The position follows a 4-day workweek, with shifts from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
