Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Assistant Maintenance Manager to support our Maintenance Executive Manager in overseeing maintenance operations across all Fresh Baguette locations. This role is pivotal in ensuring both preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as the installation of new equipment, while minimizing service disruptions and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the core values and culture of Fresh Baguette in all actions.
  • Assist in planning and executing regular preventive maintenance for bakery machinery and equipment to maximize asset longevity.
  • Assess and prioritize corrective maintenance tasks based on urgency.
  • Support the identification, repair, or replacement of worn components as necessary.
  • Help troubleshoot technical issues at various locations, focusing on minimizing service interruptions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance activities effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including food safety, during maintenance operations.
  • Assist in coordinating and supervising external technicians or subcontractors.
  • Participate directly in assisting external technicians/subcontractors when required.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the maintenance budget.
  • Assist in managing spare parts procurement and inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including costs associated with procurement and repairs.
  • Utilize CMMS Limble for tracking maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment history.
  • Provide regular reports on maintenance activities to the Maintenance Executive Manager.
  • Work closely with technicians in the field to offer hands-on support and guidance.
  • Foster a positive team environment and enhance the skills and morale of the maintenance team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, industrial electricity, HVAC, and boiler operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of availability and flexibility.
  • OSHA training is advantageous.
  • CFC EPA 608 universal certification is preferred.

Working Hours:
This role requires flexible working hours, including weekends, to ensure all maintenance needs are addressed promptly. The primary working hours are from 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-duty responsibilities every other weekend.

Compensation:
Salary range is $55,000-$65,000 per year, plus a $1,000 bonus (distributed quarterly) and a $300 monthly stipend for weekend duties.
