Job Overview:
Clerical operations specialists play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of healthcare facilities. They are responsible for a wide range of tasks, from processing admissions and handling patient information to communicating with medical staff and family members.

About the Role:
This position is available on a contract basis, with an estimated salary of $52,000 per year, based on 40 hours of work per week and a rate of $25.00-$28.00 per hour. The location is Farmington, CT, and relocation is required before starting work.

Responsibilities:
The Monitor Technician will be responsible for observing EKG monitors and reporting irregularities to medical staff. They will process admissions, greet patients, and assemble/review charts upon admission. Additionally, they will notify nursing staff and physicians of patient admission or returns of surgical patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Monitor Technician, although this is not mandatory. A current EKG monitoring certification and/or telemetry experience are highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize workflow efficiently.
