Precious Metal Refining Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team at a leading precious metal refining company in Aston. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for verifying inventory weights, melting, sampling, and refining precious metals, as well as hand fabricating purified silver products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify inventory weights and ensure accurate documentation
  • Melt, sample, and refine precious metals to meet quality standards
  • Hand fabricate purified silver products for various applications
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure safe operation of gas-fired and induction melting furnaces
Requirements:
  • Plant experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer experience and ability to learn new software
  • Well-organized, multi-tasker, and good time management skills in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds for extended periods
  • Able to handle exposure to extreme heat
  • Pre-employment background check required
