Job Summary:
Allied Motion Technologies is a leading global manufacturer of motion control products and systems. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assembler to join our team at our Watertown, NY facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload machines to perform fastening, force fitting, or light metal-cutting operations on the assembly line.
- Inspect components and assemblies visually and using inspection tools as required.
- Use prints, job orders, operations methods sheets (OMS), work instructions, and other specifications to ensure proper and within-specification materials and tools are utilized.
- Inventory (cycle count) materials in the work area.
- Prepare required documentation.
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
- Good manual dexterity to manipulate small objects.
- Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers. Soldering, lead wiring, and forming experience is a plus.
