Bethany is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Intake Coordinator to join our team. Key Responsibilities- Intake Coordination: Organize and attend arranged intakes for the local site, ensuring all staff and clients are aware of the intake process.
- Discharge Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate discharges, ensuring a seamless transition for clients.
- Case Support: Conduct case support tasks, such as background checks, address checks, filing, information input, case noting, and coordinate information sharing.
- Transportation: Provide transportation for arrivals and intakes, as requested.
- Communication: Meet regularly with direct supervisor to schedule and prioritize work, and effectively track intakes and discharges.
- Record Keeping: Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
- Data Collection: Assist in the collection, compilation, and reporting of program outcome data.
- Training and Development: Attend trainings as requested by supervisor, and complete other duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field of study from an accredited college.
- Experience: Prior work experience in cross-cultural settings.
- Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Demonstrated ability to be flexible, creative, and compassionate to meet the needs of traumatized adults and children.
- Confidentiality: Exercise a high level of confidentiality.
- Computer Skills: Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions, including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Driver's License: Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license and at least 3 years driving experience in the United States to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany.
- Criminal History Screen: Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries.
- Immunity to Vaccine-Preventable Diseases: Documentation of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases or the willingness to receive vaccination, or seek an exemption.
- Agency Statement of Faith and Mission Statement: Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith and Mission Statement.
