Material Handler/Forklift Operator Job Description

Holman Logistics is seeking a skilled Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our team in Conway, AR. As a Material Handler/Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a lift truck safely and efficiently, navigating through the warehouse to transport materials.
  • Perform routine inspections on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
  • Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices, ensuring accurate and safe handling.
  • Verify product received is identified and counted accurately, inspecting the condition of all received products.
  • Move and place products safely and securely in their proper storage location.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Two (2) years related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Forklift Certification preferred. Valid Driver's License.
Competencies:
  • Attendance: Ability to work the required schedule and arrive at work on time.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a courteous and professional manner with others.
  • Mathematics: Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
