Criminal Investigation Specialist

Qualifications

A solid understanding of criminal law, procedures, and evidentiary standards is essential. Familiarity with the judicial system and the ability to tactfully engage with individuals to gain their trust and cooperation is crucial. Competence in collecting and organizing data is required. Candidates should demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, and a commitment to treating all individuals with dignity. Proficiency in preparing clear and precise written and verbal reports on investigative outcomes is necessary. The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively, analyze challenges, and propose effective solutions is important. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance are required, along with basic computer skills.

Specialized Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of three years of general experience coupled with three years of specialized experience in significant investigative roles, preferably within the criminal sector. Educational qualifications beyond high school from accredited institutions may substitute for some general experience. The role involves travel for investigations, hearings, and training sessions. Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
