About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistical Support Specialist to join our team at Noblis. As a key member of our Surface Ship Harvesting Program, you will play a critical role in supporting the harvesting events for the NAVSEA Surface Ship Readiness Directorate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Critical Spares Inventory Database: Create and update a comprehensive database of critical spares for CG and other Surface Ship Class harvested material.
  • Apply Supply Standard Concepts and Methodologies: Research and update Integrated Logistics Supply (ILS) information for CG and other ship class systems and equipment in support of harvesting events.
  • Utilize Naval Supply Database Systems: Document new and repair costs information for ex-CG Class ships using various Naval Supply database systems.
  • Develop Program to Track Harvesting Assets: Create a program to track harvesting assets for warehousing, inventory management, and distribution to repair companies for restoration to Ready for Issue (RFI) status.
  • Identify Opportunities for Process Improvement: Utilize logistics data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and service enhancement to support enhancements to the Surface Ship Harvesting Program.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Supply Management/Logistics or similar field + 10 years of experience, or a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Supply Management and Administration Expertise: 10-12+ years of documented Supply Management and Administration expertise in Navy Supply Logistics.
  • Shipboard Configuration and Naval Supply System Databases: 8-10+ years of experience with shipboard configuration (MBPS formerly CDMD-OA) and other Naval Supply System databases.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Naval Logistician/Storekeeper Experience: Prior experience as a Logistician/Storekeeper in the Navy.
  • Configuration Technical Data Manager Certification: Certification as a Configuration Technical Data Manager.
  • Prior Naval Experience: Prior experience in the Navy.
