About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer / Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Portneuf Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and document pertinent data and procedures
  • Assist physicians with procedures and coordinate daily operations
  • Ensure a smooth workflow and efficient work atmosphere
  • Participate in the responsible management of healthcare resources
  • Serve as a first line contact for vendors and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the building, phone systems, and equipment
  • Develop and maintain effective schedules and revise as necessary
  • Responsible for the effective and complete orientation of new employees
Requirements
  • Certified or eligible for certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
  • BLS Certification
