As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Collecting pertinent data and documenting procedures
• Assisting physicians with procedures
• Coordinating daily operations and ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient work atmosphere
• Assisting in directing operations to assure compliance with all regulatory agencies and hospital requirements
• Continuously assessing, measuring, and improving departmental performance
• Participating in the responsible management of healthcare resources, including personnel, supplies, and equipment
• Serving as the first line contact for vendors of equipment and supplies for your department
• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the building, phone systems, and equipment
• Maintaining an effective schedule and revising as necessary to retain a minimal waiting period on exams
• Responsible for the effective and complete orientation of training of new employees, complete competencies, and participates in annual review with Department Director
• Will work with Department Director on budgetary, employee development, constructions, expansions, and interdepartmental processes

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Certified or eligible for certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• BLS Certification
