Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Provide guidance and support to project teams on sustainability-related matters, including LEED, WELL, and LBC certification.
  • Credit Interpretation: Help teams interpret and understand the requirements for various sustainability credits.
  • Documentation and Tracking: Develop and maintain tools and strategies for tracking and documenting sustainability credits.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and resources to employees on sustainability-related topics, including accreditation exam prep.
  • Sustainability Strategy: Support the development and implementation of Skanska's overall sustainability strategy.

Requirements
  • Sustainability Expertise: Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, building science, and LEED, WELL, and LBC rating systems.
  • Green Building Experience: Experience with green building certification projects, including energy efficiency, water efficiency, and material sourcing.
  • Carbon Accounting: Experience with carbon accounting, including tracking and reporting on embodied carbon and business unit GHG inventory.
  • Construction Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction industry best practices and trends.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience with public speaking and business development.
