Responsibilities- Coordinate care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Responsible for resident assessment, education, and various other nursing interventions.
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Provide adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care.
- Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
