Role Duties:
Collaborates with project managers, process engineers, and external partners to integrate sophisticated devices on silicon wafers.
Adheres to project timelines, employs structured problem-solving methodologies, and effectively integrates numerous process steps into operational devices.
Engages in the development and fabrication of back-end-of-line (BEOL) processes and wafer-level packaging.

Experience should encompass comprehensive technology development including: process assumptions, ground rule generation, coordination of test sites, scheduling, setup and installation, cleaning processes, wafer processing logistics, testing and characterization, and process troubleshooting.

Provides solutions to address complex external customer process challenges, focusing on high-value problems associated with the product line.

Contributes to strategic planning efforts to align research and development processes with the overall business objectives of the organization.

Functional Knowledge
Expertise in integrating silicon devices across various domains including CMOS, power, packaging, and optical technologies.
Familiarity with fabrication operations and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) like SiView.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of device technology.
Experience with SPX or Coventor is advantageous.
Leadership
Exemplifies leadership by guiding small teams of process engineers or supporting module integrators.
Problem Solving
Leads the resolution of intricate business challenges through advanced analytical thinking and judgment.
Impact

Influences departmental or business unit outcomes, facilitating cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall business performance.

Interpersonal Skills

Effectively negotiates and influences stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating sensitivity to diverse audiences.

Qualifications
Education:
PhD in Materials Science or Electrical Engineering with a semiconductor focus is preferred.

The salary offered will be determined based on various factors including location, experience, and internal equity considerations.
