Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Supervise and direct hourly production employees to ensure that production meets quality and quantity standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all safety regulations and quality standards are met, and that the department is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to production employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to production employees to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that materials are properly stored and maintained.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that any issues are reported and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with production employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure that production goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years leadership experience.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, ability to complete routine reports and correspondence, ability to speak effectively with co-workers and supervisors, and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
Working Conditions

This position requires that the employee be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous materials. The employee must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 60 pounds, and work in a variety of temperatures.
