The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining residential irrigation and lighting systems throughout the region. Key job duties include:
- Start-ups, winterizations, backflow testing, and general irrigation repair work for residential properties.
- Installation of new irrigation systems and Backflow Preventers.
- Installation and repair of drainage systems and other water control systems.
To qualify for this role, candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with irrigation systems, preferably in residential settings. A certification or degree in a related field can also be considered as an alternative to work experience.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a valid Oregon backflow certificate or be willing to obtain one. Strong communication skills and the ability to learn new systems are essential for success in this position.
A valid driver's license and physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, walk through varied terrain, and perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and digging are also required.
This is a full-time position with a typical schedule from 7:00am to 5:30pm, Tuesday through Friday. We offer a competitive wage package including medical insurance, 401k, and paid time off (PTO).
The estimated salary range for this position is $54,720 - $58,560 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and an hourly rate of $26.00 - $28.00.
