Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at UCHealth Greeley Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory therapy department.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to deliver exceptional patient care and support our team in providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
  • Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance.
  • Assess patient condition and deliver appropriate treatment utilizing appropriate protocols.
  • Educate the patient and family about the patient's illness and provide information about community resources.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date.
  • ACLS and NRP required within 6 months of hire.
