Seeking an exceptional Cook to join our culinary team at The Lodge at Vail. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of cooking techniques and practices, as well as excellent communication skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking menu items to ensure high-quality dishes are delivered to guests
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve efficient food preparation and presentation
Requirements:
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience; supervisory kitchen experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, practices, and food safety; ServSafe certifications a plus
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work well and communicate with others in a fast-paced environment under pressure
