Job Overview

Our client in the Irving area is in search of a Bilingual Procurement Clerk to become a vital part of their team on a contractual basis. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue Purchase Orders.
  • Oversee corporate purchasing initiatives (e.g., Grainger, Staples).
  • Ensure adherence to TQM program compliance (SQF, AIB).
  • Assist in processing departmental requests and support the Accounts Payable team.
  • Manage contractor oversight including insurance, safety evaluations, job-site assessments, and scheduling.
  • Conduct GR/IR reviews.
  • Maintain Master Data for MRO materials.
  • Provide backup support to the Admin Manager for Additive & Packaging, and SQF Control.
  • Engage in vendor sourcing, maintenance, evaluation, and retention.
  • Handle RFP and RFQ management.
  • Conduct market reviews for all raw material and MRO costs.
  • Assist SSC Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies.
  • Review inventory for market costs and MRO material sourcing.
  • Verify invoices through Scan Pro.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Fundamental bookkeeping skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP R/3 MM module is preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
