About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Experimental Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at Lockheed Martin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance tasks independently, including installation, repair, modification, replacement, or adjustment of aircraft components.
  • Install control rods and cables, servos, and other control units, and rig all phases of flight, engine, main rotor head and tail rotor controls.
  • Install and check out electrical harness and equipment kits, and perform operational checks.
  • Repair, modify, and install miscellaneous parts and equipment as required, and incorporate all changes and modifications.
Requirements
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
  • 5 years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Ability to research and understand technical data such as Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Blueprints, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to possess and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills
  • 5+ years experience maintaining S92/S-76C/S70 aircraft.
  • 3+ years aircraft structural modification/repair.
  • Familiarity with FAA 14 CFR Part 145 repair station regulations.
