Position Overview:
LaBella Associates is in search of a Senior Transportation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in transportation and highway engineering, coupled with a solid track record in managing and executing transportation-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical tasks including research, report generation, design, specification, and plan development to ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution.
  • Support Project Managers in business development initiatives, including client meetings and relationship building.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of proposals to secure new projects.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually. The specific salary offered will be determined by various factors, including the candidate's experience, educational background, and work location.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in transportation design is required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is essential.
  • Experience with NYSDOT, NYSTA, and Local Administered Federal Aid transportation projects is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microstation and AutoCAD; familiarity with Inroads is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NYSDOT specifications and standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
