POSITION –Packaging Specialist

LOCATION –Menomonie, Wisconsin

EMPLOYMENT TERM –Temp to Hire or Seasonal

EMPLOYMENT TYPE –Full-Time

WORK HOURS –1st Shift (7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri) (Please note that adjustments to schedules may vary depending on business needs.)

STARTING PAY –$17 per hour

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS –High School Diploma or Equivalent required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS –Previous experience in manufacturing preferred

As a Packaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in the production process, which includes the manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of products. Some team members may take on supervisory responsibilities to ensure smooth operations. Your duties may also involve conducting quality checks and maintaining production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently package and store products
  • Label products and manage inventory of labels and packaging materials
  • Organize supplies in designated areas and adjust labeling machines as necessary
  • Perform quality assurance checks
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 20-30 lbs. frequently
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English
  • Familiarity with the metric system and conversions
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance and punctuality
