About the Role:

Gpac, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in reviewing project plans and specifications, preparing quantity takeoffs, and pricing all aspects of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure accurate quantity takeoffs and pricing.
  • Manage and organize the bid and proposal process, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Analyze construction documents in all trade disciplines, estimating overhead components and utilizing industry experience to develop cost estimates reflective of local market and project conditions.
  • Perform system trade off comparisons on a macro scale, including structural systems, mechanical systems, foundations, and other key areas.
  • Develop conceptual estimates with limited design, understanding the level of detail appropriate for various stakeholders and utilizing program square footage costs.
