Job Description

At Gateway Triangle Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dining Room Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Table Setting and Maintenance: Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting, ensuring that all service ware is reset as prescribed.
  • Stocking and Cleaning: Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods, including silverware, linen, and condiments, and perform general cleaning tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Guest Service: Serve guests beverages and replenish as necessary, and assist servers with food and beverage service.
  • Waste Management: Transport all dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area.

Requirements:

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for long periods of time, as well as walk, bend, and stoop.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a busser or in a similar role is preferred.

Working Conditions:

The Dining Room Attendant is a full-time or part-time position, and hours will vary. The position is a non-exempt, hourly position.
