We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Service Technician to join our team at HENDERSEN-WEBB INC. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior of our buildings are well-maintained and in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and perform repairs to appliances, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Prepare Vacant Units: Ensure vacant units are ready for new residents by completing any necessary repairs and cleaning.
- Respond to Work Orders: Complete all assigned work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with Evictions: Assist constable/sheriff and supervisory personnel during and after evictions.
- Participate in Call Duty Rotation: Participate in a mandatory 24-hour call rotation to ensure prompt response to maintenance requests.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 12 months of experience as a Maintenance Service Technician or completion of a Maintenance Service Technician Trainee program.
- Certifications: HVAC certification preferred or must be obtained within 9 months of employment.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair; valid driver's license and reliable transportation insured in the State of Maryland.
