Position Responsibilities:
- Understand and uphold general post instructions for assigned shifts, becoming proficient in all operational aspects.
- Report directly to the Shift/Site Supervisor and Property Manager.
- Maintain positive relations between clients and Guardian Security Services.
- Ensure meticulous completion of logs and seek guidance when necessary.
- Foster a warm and secure environment by treating colleagues and clients with respect.
- Greet all guests and residents with utmost courtesy and dignity.
- Exhibit integrity and sound decision-making skills in the absence of supervision.
- Monitor and escalate issues to appropriate authorities as needed.
- Adhere to access control procedures for guests and vendors.
- Utilize access control systems, visitor management systems, and CCTV systems effectively.
- Respond to incidents and document events accurately.
- Log incoming packages using designated software.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional image at all times.
Employment Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
- A stable work history is required.
- Proficiency in computer usage and the ability to learn software programs is necessary.
Certifications:
- A valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) is required or must be obtained.
- A 20-hour training certificate must be completed within the first 30 days of employment.
- All applicants must undergo a pre-employment screening process, including a background investigation.
Personal Attributes:
- A mature demeanor and positive attitude are crucial for success.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards.
- Exceptional customer service and public relations skills are necessary.
- Must have reliable communication and transportation options.
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/push/pull over 50 lbs, sit or stand for extended periods, and patrol premises as necessary.
