Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Network Engineering & Operations team to deliver voice, video, and computing services.
  • Maintain reliability and availability of communication systems.
  • Provide technical support for Field Area Network device deployments and manage in-service assets.
  • Manage network documentation, communications requests, and GIS mapping of transport assets.
  • Participate in technology installations, upgrades, and ongoing network maintenance.
  • Ensure regulatory and technical standards compliance for assigned projects.
  • Author, edit, and manage departmental policies, procedures, and technical documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Networking, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat for technical writing and document management.
  • Knowledge of network circuit design, RF communication, and infrastructure support systems.
  • Familiarity with SCADA, RTUs, circuit management tools, and project management concepts.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with test equipment, cellular signal boosters, telephony systems, and environmental support systems.
  • Knowledge of document management principles and tools (e.g., FileNet Content Navigator).
  • 4-7 years of professional experience for Level III.
