Job Summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for performing general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all applicable codes, regulations, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Perform assigned day-to-day repairs and emergency and preventive maintenance.
  • Review and complete maintenance and repair records as required.
  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
  • Assist with solving and repairing buildings and installed systems, including plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
  • Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
  • Maintain lighting systems throughout the facility, cleans fixtures, and replaces bulbs and lamps.
  • Maintain grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, or snow removal.
  • Perform welding, carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies, summoning additional assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
