Overview:

Estes Forwarding Worldwide, a leading domestic and international freight forwarder in the United States, is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Dispatcher, Linehaul. This role involves dispatching drivers to maintain service levels of on-time local and out-state deliveries, ensuring drivers adhere to Hours-of-Service regulations, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Description:

As a Dispatcher, Linehaul, you will be responsible for daily dispatching and weekly scheduling of local and linehaul drivers. You will also determine the best delivery methods, negotiate rates with vendors and customers, manage breakdown situations on the road, and complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills. They must also have the ability to read and interpret general business documents, write routine reports, and follow standardized solutions.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
