Nurse Practitioner

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and individualized care to clients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for each client, taking into account their unique physical and behavioral health needs.
- Assess and reassess patients regularly, documenting changes in condition and communicating with the interdisciplinary team as needed.
- Supervise the care provided by LPNs, CNAs, and other staff on assigned units and shifts, ensuring that care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and education.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families, promoting healthy behaviors and coping strategies.
- Monitor client acuity, census, and staffing needs, making arrangements for coverage as needed.
- Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
- One or more years' nursing experience within a clinical area of service provided by the facility, preferably in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery.
- Valid current RN license from the state or from a compact state, where applicable.
- Certified in Psychiatric Nursing, preferred.
