Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality medical care and treatment to our clients under the direction of a physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, including history and physical examinations, to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the medical/clinical staff to provide comprehensive care, adhering to state licensure guidelines for Nurse Practitioners.
- Prescribe medications and provide clinical assessments and diagnoses as needed.
- Work closely with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Participate in the formulation of client Master Treatment Plans and establish priorities in planning and organizing client care.
- Encourage family involvement in client care and respond to identified client and family educational needs.
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.
- Assist the physician with the clinical operation of the program and document pertinent data, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other staff to establish realistic outcome goals and implement appropriate health care interventions.
- Provide guidance to the clinical staff working with assigned clients to ensure quality of care is provided.
- Prepare discharge summaries for physician review and participate in on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
