Home Care Scheduling & Oversight

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Home Care Scheduling & Oversight professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our home care services by managing schedules, coordinating staffing needs, and maintaining clear communication with caregivers and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate internal and external staffing requirements to meet client needs effectively.
  • Assign clients to the most suitable clinicians based on their specific care requirements and caregiver expertise.
  • Maintain a comprehensive list of on-call and backup staff, ensuring readily available coverage for last-minute scheduling changes.
  • Step in to cover shifts for caregivers when necessary, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to client care continuity.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with caregivers regarding any updates or modifications to their schedules.
  • Collaborate with managers and clients to provide timely notifications about any schedule adjustments or staffing changes.
  • Conduct supervisory visits with staffing clients, ensuring adherence to protocols and providing support as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Home Care Scheduler or in a similar role is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer programs.
  • Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Prior experience as a caregiver is highly valued.
