Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Endeavor Health is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Edward Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose and manage respiratory disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current Illinois license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 24 months of employment.
• At least one year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree from a national accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
