Job Summary

Danville Community College is seeking a highly qualified English Adjunct to join our faculty team. As an English Adjunct, you will be responsible for teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver effective instruction to students in a classroom setting
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Stay current with developments in the field of English and incorporate relevant technologies into instruction
Requirements
  • Masters degree in English or a closely related field
  • 18 graduate credits in English
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to utilize computer and other technologies for instruction
Preferred Qualifications
  • Availability to teach classes in person
  • Community college teaching experience
