Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct the design and development of intricate roadway, highway, and interchange projects.
  • Formulate and execute engineering solutions that align with client specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other professionals, to ensure timely and budget-compliant project milestones.
  • Employ advanced engineering software such as Microstation and AutoCAD to produce detailed design drawings and specifications.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to comprehend their needs and objectives, providing expert guidance on engineering matters.
  • Conduct site evaluations and inspections to confirm the accuracy of design plans and adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in roadway engineering, implementing best practices in project execution.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to their professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in roadway engineering, particularly in highway and interchange projects.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as Microstation and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with ODOT standards and guidelines.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for developing innovative engineering solutions.
