Key Responsibilities of the Workers' Compensation Attorney:

  • Advocate for clients in workers' compensation disputes

  • Represent clients in hearings and court proceedings
  • Facilitate settlement negotiations
  • Oversee a diverse caseload of workers' compensation issues

Qualifications for Success as the Workers' Compensation Attorney:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid license to practice law in Illinois (additional Indiana licensure is advantageous)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation and personal injury defense (for Associate level)
  • At least 6 years of experience in workers' compensation and personal injury defense (for Partner level)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in legal writing
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle multiple responsibilities
