Maintenance Associate

Maintain a safe, attractive, and enjoyable living environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by ensuring the physical facility, grounds, and equipment are in good working order.
Key responsibilities include:
- Repairing and maintaining kitchen, housekeeping, and other mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning units, electrical and plumbing fixtures, and laundry equipment.
- Painting and refinishing building surfaces.
- Ordering and maintaining necessary maintenance supplies.
- Providing necessary maintenance of all tools and equipment.
- Maintaining fire alarm systems, including smoke and heat detectors, fire pulls, and fire extinguishers.
- Assisting with quarterly inspections of sprinkler systems.
- Monitoring and assisting in basic maintenance of facility vehicles.
- Maintaining operational records, data, and enforcing observance of safety regulations.
- Working knowledge and ability to handle all maintenance and electrical equipment.
Additionally, this role requires a current contractor license as required by state and the ability to travel as needed.
