Position Overview:
As a Coffee Specialist, your primary role will be to create exceptional beverages while delivering outstanding service to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and serve a diverse selection of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks such as smoothies, adhering to club recipes and standards.
- Efficiently and safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other related equipment.
- Utilize a sandwich press machine to prepare items as requested.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the refreshment area and workstations, including brewing equipment, countertops, and display cases.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable service, taking orders, addressing inquiries, and offering recommendations.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system, ensuring proper billing to members' accounts.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding food safety, sanitation, and member satisfaction.
- Assist with inventory management, monitoring supplies, and alerting supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations during busy periods.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a barista or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
