About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team at Hilltop Holdings. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the financial health of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Execute daily repo, fed funds, and other wholesale borrowing transactions to ensure the company's liquidity and cash management needs are met.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Generate monthly and quarterly reports for our Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) on liquidity, interest rate risk, bank investments, and derivatives.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Assist with the monthly Funds Transfer Pricing process and evaluate bank portfolio holdings to ensure alignment with our financial goals.
  • Financial Data Management: Support senior analysts and management with the collection and maintenance of large data sets, data analysis, and mining, and the preparation of presentation materials.
  • Financial Risk Management: Understand and adhere to our Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with our risk appetite.
  • Special Projects: Participate in long-term or special projects from planning to implementation as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related fields.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of Asset/Liability Management experience at a commercial bank or broker-dealer.
  • Skills: Advanced computing skills with ALM models experience in Bancware, Empyrean, or QRM, excellent quantitative and data analytic skills with advanced Excel, SQL, and/or Visual Studio experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail and strong communication and presentation skills.
