Job Title: Senior Treasury Analyst

Job Description

Our client, a prominent player in the software sector, is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to contribute to their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization known for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence.



The Senior Treasury Analyst is a newly created position that will assist the SVP of Finance in various capacities. Responsibilities of the position include duties related to customer support, treasury management, general ledger accounting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have some experience in each of these areas, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be willing to take on additional tasks that are identified as the product grows.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Reconcile payment activity across multiple bank accounts
  • Provide detail to team, other departments, and clients to resolve payment issues
  • Assist in identifying variances as part of weekly batch reconciliations
  • Assist in creation and assignment of new bank accounts and related entitlements
  • Assist in testing of new accounts by initiating and reconciling necessary transfers, ACH, and wire activity
  • Review bank fees and charges and allocate to customers as necessary
  • Provide relevant detail to billing department to ensure timely and accurate billing of bank fees and charges
  • Create journal entries to ensure proper adjustment to account balances at month-end
  • Oversee transaction flow as well as reconciliations related to factoring activity
  • Serve as a back-up for basic Payment Analyst tasks, especially during times of PTO, illness, etc.
  • Complete and distribute necessary reporting related to virtual credit card transactions


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (CMA, CFA) is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury or financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of cash management and financial instruments.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.


Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
