Job Summary

Kimble Company is seeking an experienced Class B CDL driver to operate heavy-duty waste disposal vehicles and collect waste and recyclable materials. As a Refuse Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient collection of waste, while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, complying with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, documenting and reporting any mechanical or safety issues to supervisors.
  • Notify supervisors of accidents, injuries, or property damage.
  • Maintain and update route sheets and driver logs.
  • Attend scheduled safety meetings, information sessions, and trainings.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors, such as assisting with other routes to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B CDL driver's license.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 1 year CDL truck driving experience.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check.
