  • Develop monthly and annual budgets for activities.
  • Oversee event setup and cleanup processes.
  • Prepare food for smaller gatherings and collaborate with catering services for larger functions.
  • Ensure adequate inventory of office and activity supplies.
  • Produce and distribute a weekly newsletter to inform resort guests about activities.
  • Organize fundraising initiatives to support departmental needs.
  • Maintain all equipment and supplies in optimal condition.
  • Respond to inquiries via telephone with professionalism and provide information regarding activities.
  • Manage petty cash and submit requests as necessary.
  • Compile end-of-month reports and other documentation as requested by management.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including email and internet usage.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to negotiate contracts and pricing on behalf of the organization.

The physical demands of this position require the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and to lift or move items weighing up to 75 pounds. Work hours may vary based on guest occupancy and other factors.
