Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Robot Thermal Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of the Robot Chassis team, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, modeling, validating, and optimizing the thermal system across all Apptronik products. Your primary goal will be to improve robot thermal performance and reliability, enabling the creation of fully autonomous general-purpose robots. In this role, you will lead simulation and hands-on testing to deliver optimal thermal management solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Create passive and active air-cooled thermal designs for custom electronics, actuators, and integrated robot chassis.
  • Develop accurate system thermal models to guide system architecture.
  • Select components for the thermal system and assist in engineering prototype builds and component fabrication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize thermal performance and meet system requirements.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
