Job Overview

Position Summary

This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and environmental compliance within our operations. The EHS leader will oversee a range of responsibilities aimed at fostering a culture of safety and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive audits and investigations to enhance workplace safety and environmental standards.
  • Develop and implement programs that promote a strong safety culture, providing training and support to employees on safe work practices.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and standards, ensuring that all processes align with organizational goals.
  • Act as the primary contact for field service teams, addressing day-to-day EHS concerns and providing immediate support.
  • Utilize technical expertise to inform policy and strategy, ensuring that EHS initiatives are effective and sustainable.
  • Analyze key business drivers to integrate EHS objectives with overall business goals.
  • Employ analytical skills to identify and propose solutions for EHS challenges, utilizing prior experience and training.
  • Contribute to the development of team members through informal guidance and support.
  • Ensure that all processes meet established performance metrics and standards.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement in EHS practices.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Environmental Health & Safety.
  • At least 3 years of experience in EHS management and leadership roles.
