Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines and other equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Display a clear understanding of company policies and procedures, and administer them as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and other equipment.
  • Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines, and report defective equipment to designated maintenance repair service operators or technician dispatchers.
  • Ensure that trucks are properly loaded with all product required to service all scheduled machines, following outlined operational procedures.
  • Inform clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
  • Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
  • Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and product.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with District procedures.
  • Keep company vehicles clean and organized at all times, and perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
Requirements
  • 3 years of driving experience required.
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license (unless otherwise indicated by state) and good driving record.
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
  • Able to work independently, responsible for route, work unsupervised 98% of the work day.
