Job Title: Medical Route Delivery Driver

Norco, Inc. is seeking a Medical Route Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Medical Route Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering medical equipment, oxygen products, and supplies to home care patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver medical equipment, oxygen products, and supplies to home care patients
  • Efficiently organize delivery routes on a daily basis
  • Deliver liquid and compressed gaseous oxygen to specified points of delivery
  • Deliver durable medical equipment and other home care-related equipment to specific points of delivery
  • Protect patient PHI per HIPAA regulations
  • Handle the retrieval of rental return items and their proper handling and placement into the designated rental return area
  • Provide patient/client orientation and instruct on the proper use of equipment
  • Work with patients/clients to solve a variety of problems, acting as a company field representative
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
Qualifications:
  • No at-fault accidents resulting in suspension in the last 3 years
  • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally weighing over 100 lbs
  • Ability to accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
  • Familiar with all FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen
  • Familiar with required accreditation policies and procedures as they pertain to delivery driver-related activities and customer/staff safety
