About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Boca Raton, FL. As a key member of our litigation department, you will work closely with our attorneys to assist with ongoing cases, prepare for trial, and maintain case files.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties to support our attorneys
  • Maintain accurate attorney calendars, scheduling depositions, meetings, mediations, hearings, and other events
  • Effectively manage and document all case files using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe tools
  • E-file legal documents in Florida's E-Portal System, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences, providing critical support for successful case outcomes
  • Draft and review legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas, to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with clients, parties, and non-parties via email, mail, or certified mail, maintaining professional relationships and resolving issues efficiently
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of litigation experience, with preference given to candidates with trial experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads in fast-paced environments, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and attorneys
